You have got enough reasons. Now let's learn about the process of visa. Indian's need Tourist Visa before they visit South Korea which they need to get from embassy before the departure. The visa is received via mail but all the documentation process must be done in person.
Documents Required For Visa Application
1. Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and
minimum three blank pages for visa stamp. Attach old passports (if
any).
2. Passport rea Visa Application Form : One visa application form to be duly filled and signed by the applicant - https://www.visa.go.kr/openPage.do?MENU_ID=1020408
3. Photo Specification : Two recent passport size colored photographs
with matt or semi matt finish,80% face coverage, white background,
without spectacles and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
4. Covering Letter : Covering-Letter from applicant mentioning name,
designation, passport number, purpose, expenses clause and duration
of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant
and addressed to – Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, Mumbai.
Letter should be on a business letterhead with a seal in case of self
employed
5. Proof of Occupation
Self Employed - Business Registration Certificate
Employed - Employee Certificate and Leave letter from the Employer in original.
6. Financials :
a) Personal ITR for last 3 years / Form 16
b) Bank Statement for last 3 months duly attested by respective Bank
with the original Bank seal and sign on each page.
c) Salary Slips for the last 3 months duly attested by the company
with seal & signature.
7. Air Ticket : Confirmed round trip air ticket (Dummy ticket works too)
8. Hotel Booking : Hotel Confirmation, Tour Confirmation and Day to day
schedule (should match with the ticket and hotel).
9. Personal Details : Personal mobile no, email ID, Emergency contact
no with person's name and relation, Higher qualification, School/
College/ Company name and City.
Before you apply for a tourist visa, ensure that you meet the visa requirements, fill the application form, attach the required documents and pay the required fees.

Processing Time
It can take anywhere between 5 to 8 working days in order to process the visa. Individuals should make their applications in advance to avoid delays in their travel plans.
