In the last few months, Mumbai has witnessed the launch of a number of bars, the kind that inspire even the most anti-social, couch-loving person to show their fun moves on the dance floor.
So, here's a list of new bars in Mumbai that will contend for your attention in the coming months.
1. Please Don't Tell- PDT
PDT is not just a great place to sip on a few delicious cocktails, but even their food is amazing! Tucked away in a nondescript area of Lower Parel's Kamala Mills, to enter the place, you go through a red telephone box, dial a number and sweet talk your way past the operator before you're allowed in.
Where: Kamala Mills, OSS Compound, Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Lower Parel
Cost: ₹1,200 for two people (approx.) with alcohol
₹230 for a pint of beer (approx.)
2. R’Adda
The city comes alive at night, they say. If you're firming up your plans for the weekend and don't know where to head on Saturday night, R-Adda beckons. Located in Juhu, this is a great place to meet friends or head out with your partner. Go early around 7:30pm if you want a table. The crowds start pouring in an hour later and the vibe of the place is electric.

Take It Easy eases you in with a very Bohemian feel. With a minimalistic décor and menu, it is no-nonsense and to the point.

5. Dishkiyaoon
Dishkiyaoon, at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, is a bright garden room with quintessential garden indoors and bright décor. If you're in this part of town, and like to experiment with food and drinks, this would be a good option.

6. The Bar Terminal
The decor is vibrant and colourful as many of the design elements are recycled. The drinks menu is extensive, with many of the usual suspects, as well as some interesting cocktails. Try the Smoked Berry, a tequila-based drink with strawberry, served in a massive margarita glass, with the added theatre of berry-flavoured smoke.

If you’re a Social Offline fan, but hate traveling all the way to South Mumbai, I suggest you visit Khar Social as soon as possible. The thing which makes Khar social unique unlike any other social offline is that this one has a built in skateboard ramp housed in the compound. So, what are you waiting for?
