Mandarin Oriental

This trip had lot of my first times - my first solo trip, my first staycation and my first decent mirror selfie :P

Located at the perfect spot, with the best of Kuala Lumpur at each side literally just outside, all the amenities possible, lavish spread of breakfast and the view - Mandarin Oriental offers everything under one roof!

I literally didn't have to walk even 50m outside its gate to go to all the places mentioned below and many other things I got too lost to capture in my camera!

The perfect beginning - I got lucky and got an upgrade to the premium room on 18th floor with direct view of the mighty Petronas Twin Towers! Welcomed with complimentary lots of chocolate, two flavors of amazing mocktails and a personalized note!

View from the window - These iconic Petronas Twin Towers, are so tall they are genuinely difficult to fit into a photo. I somehow managed to get this in a frame by snugging myself in the corner to look from the bottom!

Kept the curtains open all night, only to wake up to this! <3

Just outside the hotel is this beautiful park, went for a jog and just kept on running. Would surely stay fit if I get to run here everyday!

Later to the lavish spread of breakfast with Indian, Mexican, American, Malay, Japanese, Korean, Israeli cuisines. And the elaborate dessert section popped out my eyes and tongue :) Got so lost that I forgot to even take a picture :/

On the other side was the famous Suria mall at KLCC, overlooked by the twin towers.

Back to the room was royally designed bathroom, the perfect place to relax!

Colors all around when you look down, intrigued I asked around and went to this place!

Surprisingly it was in the same park next door where I went for the run. It was a mesmerizing and calming musical fountain show for 2-3 hours, that too free :)

Unable to control the excitement, I was dancing with the fountains along the tune!!!

The expression says it all - the excitement of enjoying the musical fountains in the front and the twin towers at the back! #crazy

This was my dream come true - an infinity pool. Spend all my evenings just flowing in pool, looking at the blinking lights and stars! It was in the Aqua restaurant, probably one of the most romantic place.

On of the other side - outside each exit was a place to visit. This was the underground Aquarium.

There was an amazing and happening club where I met a cute local guy ;) #sadlynopicture

Loved and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of my stay at Mandarin!
