Perfect island life, crystal clear water, hippie vibe, loud music, night parties, fresh fruits and endless water to keep staring sitting on the clean beaches, are the things I remember from my one day trip to Phi Phi islands. Generally, people do not prefer staying over for the night as it is also possible to do a day trip to the Phi Phi Islands but trust me, it is worth staying over .
We had planned a relaxing trip to the Phi Phi island and took a speed boat from Phuket which took us around 2 hours to reach. The boats can be booked easily from any city as there are multiple shops offering you tickets. We reached there around 10 am and at the arrival, we had to pay a landing charge of 20 Baht per person which is for upkeep and maintenance of the pier.
Tip 1 : It is important that you check with multiple shops for ticket prices for best prices. It should cost you between 350-450 Baht Tip 2 : It is advisable to book your tickets a day prior to your travel day so that it is convenient
There are plenty of options to stay on the Phi Phi Islands. As most of the time you get to spend roaming around the islands, so it is better to book hostels there. As our plan was to rest it out so we took an accommodation at Dee Dee Sea Front which was quite nice and peaceful, amazing room, good ambiance. After putting our luggage, we head out for lunch.
There are plenty of options for vegetarians like me. Every street had fresh fruit stores offering fresh cut fruits, juices, ice creams, shakes. Even there were plethora of cafes which had quite a few options to choose from. I completely went berserk with the coconuts there. They were like fresh pot of heaven. The entire time in Thailand, I kept having lots of them from these shops. They cost not more than 50 Baht and are worth it. Phi Phi had variety of places offering specific things like the one we went to called The Mango Garden was offering mango based desserts, dishes and shakes. I quite enjoyed that. If you are a mango lover, you would love it too.

The streets were quite like any other island, small, quite but busy, souvenir shops on both the sides, qwerky tattoo shops on every corner, fruit shops, tickets counters offering tickets to other islands. It felt kind a therapeutic just walking the streets and exploring the island.
Activities
They say . "When you are on an island, the possibilities are endless" and so is the case with Phi Phi. It completely depends upon your agenda, you can go for island hopping , do snorkeling, go for a nice swim, walk the streets, get a tattoo done, go for scuba diving, get your hair braided , or simply relax in your hotel. In my case I was looking for relaxation there so went for a good long walk, explored the island, enjoyed the food, had an awesome fish spa at Dr Fish for 30 minutes, walked on the beach and watched the beautiful sunset then went on the enjoying the party at the beach
This is another reason I love island life, there is this sense of absolute free spirit, carelessness in the whole vibe. There were multiple parties happening at the same time on the beach in different cafes on the beach. People were playing loud music, dancing, some also swam in the water under the stars, I saw some of the most incredible fire shows there and got myself painted with glowing colors and did my happy dance. There was this amazing energy in the crowd there, people were playing different games for free shots, some were jumping ropes which were glowing in the dark. It all seemed like a scene from a movie shot in Miami.
They correctly say , there is nothing like an Island therapy
