Undertake a full-day trek to the incredible Double Decker Root Bridge and Rainbow Falls, immersing yourself in the region’s lush beauty. Continue to Dawki for a day of water activities on the crystal-clear Umngot River. En route to Shillong, visit the stunning Krang Suri and Phe Phe waterfalls. In Shillong, explore the vibrant Police Bazaar and, if time permits, local attractions like Ward’s Lake and the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. Conclude your adventure with a transfer back to Guwahati, reflecting on the rich cultural experiences and stunning landscapes that make Meghalaya truly unforgettable.

- Upon arriving at Guwahati, you will embark on a scenic journey to Cherrapunji. The drive itself is a picturesque introduction to the lush landscapes of Meghalaya, with rolling hills and verdant greenery. En route, take a refreshing break at Umiam Lake, a vast and beautiful reservoir surrounded by lush hills, perfect for a short walk or a few photos. Later, stop at the Mawphlang Sacred Forest, a protected grove revered by the Khasi tribe. This forest is a treasure trove of biodiversity and is rich with ancient lore. The Khasi people have preserved this forest for centuries, and it is believed that taking anything in or out of the forest could anger the spirits that protect it. Next, head to Mawkdok for an adrenaline-pumping zip-lining experience, where you can glide over verdant valleys and take in the stunning views.
- Continue your journey to Cherrapunji, where you will check in to your accommodation and prepare for an exciting day ahead. Overnight in Cherrapunji.
- Prepare for an adventurous day as you embark on a full-day trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge in Nongriat. This unique bridge, made from the living roots of rubber trees, showcases the ingenuity of the Khasi people and their harmonious relationship with nature. The trek involves descending steep steps and navigating through lush forests, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience. After visiting the root bridge, continue your trek to Rainbow Falls, a stunning waterfall named for the rainbows that often form in its mist.

- Begin your exploration of Cherrapunji with visits to its famous caves and waterfalls. Start with the Arwah Cave, known for its impressive limestone formations and prehistoric fossils. Then, proceed to the Mawsmai Cave, an easily accessible cave that offers a labyrinth of passages adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. After exploring these subterranean wonders, head to Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India.
- The sight of the water cascading down into the deep green pool below is simply awe-inspiring. Depart from Cherrapunji and journey to Dawki, a charming town on the India-Bangladesh border, famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River.
- The river’s transparency is so striking that boats appear to be floating on air. Spend the night in Dawki, experiencing the peaceful ambiance of this riverside town.
- After breakfast, engage in various water activities such as boating, kayaking, and snorkeling in the clear waters, or simply relax by the riverside and enjoy the scenic beauty. Later proceed to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, with stops at two beautiful waterfalls along the way. First, visit Krang Suri Waterfall, known for its azure waters and picturesque setting. Take a dip in the cool waters or relax by the falls, enjoy the serene environment. Next, head to Phe Phe Waterfall, a lesser-known but equally enchanting spot, offering pristine natural beauty and a tranquil atmosphere. Continue your drive to Shillong, where you will check in to your accommodation and spend the night.
- In the evening, explore Police Bazaar, the bustling commercial hub of Shillong. Here, you can shop for local handicrafts, enjoy delicious street food, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
- Overnight in Shillong
- On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Shillong before being transferred to Guwahati for your departure. If time permits, explore some of Shillong’s local attractions, such as Ward’s Lake, a charming artificial lake surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, perfect for a relaxing stroll or a boat ride or visit the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, a significant landmark known for its stunning architecture and peaceful ambiance.
- Arrive at Guwahati airport in time for your flight, bringing an end to your unforgettable Meghalaya adventure.

- Please pay a booking amount of 30% of the total cost to confirm your spot.
- Balance amount to be paid 10 days before the trip start date.

Cancellation/Amendment by the Participant during the tour
Incase you are unable to continue with the tour due to any health conditions or acclimatisation issues or any other issue, any expenses on alternate arrangements made have be borne by you and TGE is not liable to pay for transportation, accommodation, hospitalisation, meals or any other expenses incurred
20 days before the event start date: No Refund
20- 40 days before the event start date: 50% Refund
Before 40 days of the event start date: 75% Refund
