Although it has been 6 months since I went to Triund but this place holds a special place in my heart as it was my first backpacking tour. The atmosphere at Triund is awesome, especially when you light your bonfire, collecting dry woods from the jungle below, drinking from the fresh stream and the view from Snowline Cafe. Its a place largely visited by foreigners, and you get to share some awesome experiences.
Its a very easy trek, can be done solo too and you get shops to eat at the top too and sleeping bags and tents are easily available at rent in mid way. Just stay at Bhagsu Nag and start your trek in the morning from there, stay at the top for the night and come back the next day.
