Mesmerizing views from Triund Trek

Triund Trek

This trip became so special because it was last time we had travelled before the pandemic happened.

I always wanted visit and camp on the Triund hill. And we had set two days aside for this trek. As we reached Himachal and the day to visit the trek came closer the weather was not at all looking in our favor. It started raining the day we planned. So we had to cancel and roam around Mcleodganj.

Second day in morning we had decided we won't camp on the hill as it was not possible. But we decided we will at least trek on the hill and back same day. So even when the it was very foggy and raining we started our trek in the afternoon.

And I think that was the best decision we had make although the temperature was very low were feeling adrenaline rush.

We had to take permission at the base as it was already late to climb and we had to make it back in time. We were instructed to come back before it gets dark.

We started our journey towards the hill to reach the top. As you can see in the picture it was all foggy and dreamy weather and cold at the same time. We made few friends on the way too. As we were climbing it was getting a bit harder to breathe as at least I was trekking for the first time in low temperature and also it was raining too.

But the harder the journey the more beautiful the destination is. As we were getting trekking we knew that it was going to be worth climbing in this kind of weather too.

We climbed till the magic view cafe as we had understood it was not possible to make it back in time from the top. But the views and experience we had on this particular trek was very adventurous and amazing. You can decide it from the pictures below itself.
