The most underrated dam in South Goa is located in Quepem area. This dam is located away about 15km to Margao. It is also true that dam was built during portuguese regime. It is one of the best picnic spot or to spend time with friends.
This dam is the calmest place in South Goa. It is located right over the Kushawati river and is said to be one of the oldest dam in South Goa. During rainy season the dam floods and water gushes. The water swirls due to heavy flow and looks breathtaking.
