During winters, the Himalayas wear a blanket of snow,While the summer months bloom with endless options of well-known treks.
Parashar Lake trek is a great option and very less number of people know about it.
We reached Mandi from Delhi on Saturday morning where we were greeted by our guide.
Here is what it holds for you in the quiet winter months:
1. Beautiful forest trails with infinite view.
The entire trail takes you in and out of beautiful thick forests at the start with a serene view, which is captured in your hearts forever.
If you like taking a walk in the woods and watching the delicate way the trees hug and sprinkle snow, then this is your place.
2. Snow trek which takes your breath away with a mesmerizing view of nature.
The trail is covered with snow. It is the perfect trek for beginners who are looking to experience trekking on snow (in winters) amidst beautiful surroundings.
Its all covered with beautiful green valleys to snow-covered mountains. The best weekend getaway that has everything to offer. We did a number of slides on our way returning from trek :P
3. The epic lake, the temple and the camp site.
The frozen lake adds beauty all around the place. The perfect home-stay/campaign has every view to offer.
4. The splendid Sunset and Sunrise to capture.
If you finish the trek on time around 5pm, you can capture the beautiful sunset around the mountains. Sunrises around 6-7am in winters and all you have to do is come out of your cozy blankets to capture the splendid sunrise.
We departed from Parashar on Sunday with a whole new excitement and adventure than the onward journey. The views were beautiful and we were hoping to stay more in the lap of mother nature. We did a number of slides from top hill for more adventures :P.
"Also had the time-lapse for sunset, but due to some technical issues couldn't upload it here."
