Surprisingly, I have a lake

This small lake is named after me i.e. "Sahib Tso Prashar" (more about this later.) There is a small lake on the way to the main attraction of the Prashar region i.e. the Prashar lake and the Prashar Rishi Temple. I usually spend almost an entire day there whenever I am in my hometown "Mandi".

Prashar has a very unique and peculiar vibe to it. I feel calm and at peace there. It could be because of the temple and the spiritual ambience of the place.⠀

A few years ago, I started inquiring about the name of this lake but everyone told me that it has no name and that they just call it "Paani Ka Chudu" a term used by Himachalis to describe a small water body.⠀

At that time, I was new to Google Maps and decided to claim a missing place and I named it Sahib Tso. Tso is the Tibetan term for a lake. To my surprise, the name got accepted by Google and the locals approved it.⠀

I didn't know about this until my recent visit there last week. I got really excited when my name popped up on Google maps. I was completely surprised and elated to know that sometimes small and innocent actions deliver such big results. You never know when the universe is listening so keep asking for things that you want from the universe, it might just hear you. In return, you can just be grateful and kind.⠀

I don't think many people can rightly say that they have a lake named after them. I have no idea how to thank the person who approved it, but I'm truly grateful for this honour.
