Day 1

As the new year has started me along with my friends and elder brothers planned to go to Parashar lake which is a holy place situated 40 kms from Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. We all 8 people departured in our own 2 cars and headed towards Mandi. We went near about 2pm and having enjoy on the roads while we crossed Baijnath a holy place also which is famous for its Shiva temple. And soon as we entered Mandi district border. Smoking blunts of hash and listening to loud music stopping at the good places to have some tea and getting ourselves warmed up because it was freaking cold in the month of January. And as we know the place we are heading to will be occupied with snow and the temperature may fall to -8°C or may be more. We have packed ourselves with jackets and inners and full prepared for the cold. We reached Parashar lake at the night near about 9pm. The temperature started to fall. As one of our elder brother have some links with the local so we all managed to get a guest house for 8 people the owner of the cafe was know to one of our brother. He treated us well at that night with good food and lots of coffee. We all were exhausted by travel around 140 kms. So we got relaxed by enjoying around the fire then we smoked up some chillums as the temperature was cold and we enjoyed and got high that night.

Day 2

The next morning was a blessing of nature as the sun rises little snow was fallen on some areas near around the lake. It was a fabulous view. As you can see all around the mountains and the lake. The lake is so natural as it represents the earth as if you go there and then you can know it much better how the lake represent the earth. Can you think in the winters you would like to have a bath with the freezing cold water of the lake? Iam not joking iam serious as the elder brother told to me. We all will have a bath. I said "fine bhaiya we will". So we went to the holy temple of Rishi Parashar whose architecture was as old as the Egyptians. So we all had a bath with freezing cold water of the lake and the oldest Saint of the temple got the water from the lake for all of us like 8 buckets of water for all 8 people. That was an breathtaking experience but the water of the lake has so positive vibes that you will not feel cold after the water falls on your body. It gives you very much positive vibes and you'll feel fresh for the whole day. We spent some time across the areas of the lake and we also did the revolving around the lake. You must do 3 rounds and also chant some mantras which you may know. Then we had breakfast and went for a short trek nearby the lake. We came back in the evening and due to some problems we faced with one of our cars we have to get back to our hometown next morning but those 3 days were amazing experience. I will never have that same experience again but I'll always have the same vibe again and again as I go there. When you reach there standing at the top you must say "HAR HAR MAHADEV" and "JAI PARASHAR RISHI JI"
