Day 1

During the lockdown period, my friends and me were frustrated and wanted to travel. But there were inter-district travel restrictions.
So, we decided to explore interior villages and less known places in our own district Mandi (HP).

After visiting a lake and a temple, we came to know about a naturally formed "Shivalinga" situated inside a cave.

LOCATION :-

The cave is at a village named Dharli.
It is nearly 28 km away from Mandi and the nearest town is Salapar.

SMALL DRIVE TO THE PEACEFUL VILLAGE :-

A single lane road connects Dharli with Salapar.
You will also find a small freshwater stream cutting through sheer mountains. Also a beautiful waterfall, where you can also drink clean Himalayan water.

The village was calm and peaceful, and has only 4_5 shops. Locals had build a small temple around the cave.
The cave was really beautiful and has a slippery surface. It is nearly 50-60 m long.
At the end of this small tunnel, there is situated a naturally formed Shivalinga.

It was a pretty good day out which made our lockdown period memorable for all of us.
