#TripotoTakeMeToSandakphu
I would like to begin with a short poem.
You ask me why I dwell in the green mountain;
I smile and make no reply for my heart is free of care.
As the peach-blossom flows down stream and is gone into the unknown,
I have a world apart that is not among men.
Every journey has a very special place in our heart and I would talk about a very special trip, my first ever trekking experience
my journey began with 1 friend and ended with 45 friends. Every single day was so astounding that it made going home very heart breaking.
The experience of staying in tents was the best and one of the best memory of the trip is sleeping below 5 million stars, the jungle stay was made us all connect to nature and the forest treks made me realize that whoever said "Forests have no WiFi but you can always feel the connection" was absolutely right.
The final trek day was a bit difficult as the weather was not that great and not all of us could complete the trek but those who returned also made the most of their time. Another best part was when we were some 4-5 people sitting together after lighting a bon-fire, I got an idea of getting my sleeping bag out and lying on it while reading my favorite book, it was indeed the best feeling to have your favourite book in your hand with such an amazing view and such great friends.
"The greatest part of the trip is not the destination, its also the wild stuff that happens on the way". Even though our team was unable to reach Bhrigu lake all of us were still happy and satisfied as we spent the best 6 days of our life in the lap of the mighty Daulandhar ranges
