Day 1

Manali. Dreamy place. word is enough to bring smile on faces. I was there for one album song shoot. that shoot was with less crew. we arrived chandigarh by flight and took one of actress from there and traveled overnight for manali.

We reached around 4am early morning and after very quick bath me and our associate director started walking through streets for location recce.

We started with chai on very little but exactly near beas rever shop. and asked him about permission and things.

We almost walked 28 to 30 kms that day in manali, old manali, mall road & hidimba tample area,

At the end we rented two Royal enfield bullets and came back to hotel.

That day we mat many local people around us. also few cage owners in old manali few hotel & restaurant owner, cottages owner, local house holds.

We got many friends also i love to walk around streets and talking about their culture. We were also invited for their local functions but due to tight schedule we were not able to visit.

Day 2

On very second day our schedule was for shoot on Rohtang pass. we started our journey from hotel with two bike and one tampo traveler. As yesterday me and yash (associate director) ride a bike.

We started at 3:30am from hotel. we reached Gulaba at 5:30am and that cheak point will open after 6:00am. (You have to take permit from manali for vehicles. if u are hiring taxi or something they will clear that permit thing and if u are riding bike simply just ask that person who is renting you bike he will compete the process.)After that 30 mins break we started our journey with views of valley and Mountains around us at perfect time of sun rising. it's always pleasure to look at that valleys and mountains at sunrise and sunset time.

Next we stopped our bikes at Marhi to wait for others. We reached Rohtang pass. i can't explain that beautiful views with my words.

some tregedy happened with us just after started shoot. 90% of our crew fell seek because of high altitude. it was only me, yash & two actors we completed our shoot but we were out of time, out of crew. so we started back to manali at 4:30pm. so it was pretty sure that we have to ride at night.

Unfortunately my helmet glass got many scratches. So i was riding without glass.

We arrived at 9pm or something at hotel. rested for few minutes and again started for naggar castel looking for cottage we booked online which is near about 24 kms from manali. Naggar castel is also very beautiful. we booked room for next day and traveled back to hotel. i slept as i was, even without removing my socks. but after an hour or something i tried to open my eyes but it was paining very badly that i was not even able to open eye. and shouting that what is happening. it was probably because i was riding bike without glass. after putting eye drops i felt little good and slept.

Day 3

Third day early morning half crew started for naggar castel at that cottage for shoot. and half team was taking drone shots at manali. after that we rolled all over manali and shooted on streets. that day was fully busy for shoot. also next day we shooted in manali local areas.

on 5th day everyone traveled back and me and Rishil stayed.

Day 5

Now we have full time for just roaming around and hike around. We started with vashishth tample at that afternoon we ride bike to vashishth and trek to jogini waterfall. Best place for peace between the woods. On treking back it was almost dark and dinner time so when we reached near Vashistha tample there was many house hold restaurants so we stayed at one of them and their food was awesome. like we never tasted before that local food.

On sixth day we were at solang valley. It has very superb views solng vally is very beutiful and one of camping site is there at river bank (beas river). If you are camping lover and want spent night under the bare sky and with sound of river that is the perfect place to visit. they also have kitchen their and manali local bus has daily route from mall road to solang valley and this campsite is at bus stand only.

There is also many cottages and hotels over there.

And that night we walked to old manali and there is many cafes in manali we were there at rockey's cafe. at end and at height. pretty awesome open roof cafe which gives you goosebumps every time you look at city which is fully visible from that cafe. there also another superb hostel plus cafe plus restaurant near hidimba tamble. perfect location. for staying. they also do serve good food. owners are very friendly and good. Their cafe is also at 5 or sixth floor. wich gives you look to all over manali. manali's night life is also interesting.

That was the end of our journey. May be not explored that much into woods but explored many place in local manali. it was like if u ask us few addresses we were able to give you direction. That trip create more n more love inside me for manali. Manali have very kind people, tasty food, fancy staying, tenting, many cafes.

Thank you to every person who helped us. thank you manali.
