Day 2

So this was a special day it was our anniversary and we had planned to enjoy it fully. As we both were seeing the snow for the 1st time so were super excited.
We hired a Bullet as my husband loves to ride and i love to sit at his back. After having a lovely yum breakfast we stared our journey to the solang valley. A lovely chill weather the cool breeze running through the hair, simply a weather to make you fall in love with the hills.
So we had a nice drive to the solang valley luckily it wasnt a weekend so we had a smooth drive without traffic jams as in the peak seasons the road to solang gets a difficult one as the jams actually test your patience (these are atleast 2-4hrs).
But we were saved and we reached our destination in around 35min.
PS- if you really want to enjoy the snow then do take the snowsuits and boots and gloves. You get them on rent on the way to solang.
The view was so amazing and cheerful with snow all around, it felt like heaven on earth. And we parked the bike had the most important dish of hills yes thats vegetable Maggie. This is mandate when you are in hills. The taste is just so different there. Sorry i got carried away! Haha.
So we parked and started trekking in the snow, we went in feb last week and the snow at that time was around 4-7ft. The walk on the snow was just perfect for the day. We went to a temple at a peak and walked around 6kms up the snow hill. It was tiring but worth it. The peak was less explored by people and had fresh clean snow. We had an amazing time playing with snow balls, doing snow slides, of course made the snow man( a funny one though!).
We spent a good 6hrs there and dint realise that it startes to get dark. The day playing in the snow came to and end with beautiful memories we came back to the hotel, relaxed, had dinner and slept.

Day 3

I have a craze to stay at different hotels so the 3rd day we changed our hotel so after having breakfast we drove to our new home for the day the Sunpark Resort. Here also we had a honeymoon suite with a mountain view. The room gave a feel of a kings room.
After checking in we kept our baggage and planned tge day so as we love the snow so decided to go again to Solang. This time we went to the area where there were some adventure activities happening. Though we did only the tyre slide which was super cool but the paragliding also looked exciting so you can try as in this they take you to height in a timber trail and get down paragliding. We spent a nice chilled out time there for around 3-4 hrs and came back to the hotel. The day ends with another day of snowy memory.

Day 1

So this was the 1st time i was about to see snow. It was my 1st marriage anniversary and me and my husband had been dating since 6 yrs and we decided that we will see snow together and so the day had come.
As we wanted a not so hectic trip so planned to go by a Volvo which reached the destination the next day around 10am. We had our hotel already booked through goibibo. So the 1st hotel we stayed at was the Orchard green Resort it was a good height about 3.5kms from the the mall road. We had a honeymoon suite booked with a Mountain view and it was just awesome.
After checking-in we relaxed a while and then went walking to a nearby Hadimba devi temple it was hardly a 1 km walk. Had a little peaceful time there got to see some snow, walked around the temple played a bit in snow and came back to hotel at around 5pm. Chilled out at the hotel and planned the next day trip. Had dinner and dozed off.

Day 4

This was our last day and we had to catch the evening volvo so thought of sticking to nearby places so we checked out kept the baggage in baggage room and walked to the mall road as it was 1.5 kms away from our hotel. On the way we sneaked out to the river ad had some nice photo shoot.
Then continued our walk and went on to explore some greenery and the huge pine trees so we went to the Manali nature park. In the middle of huge pine trees the Byas river flowing down can be seen from there. Had a nice walk in the Park some clicks and then went to the mall road as the park is just opp the mall road.
Had an amazing food at the Frontier restraunt and also tried the  amazing snack called "Siddu" from the Fauji Dhaba(a must try). Further went on to the Nyinmapa Monastery. A place to relax and calm your soul and mind. Making a wish with rotating the prayer wheels. Half an hour would be a good time to spend there. After this walked back to the hotel took our luggage and bid a goodbye to this super amazing, serene, and magical place Manali.
