In spite of being surrounded by picturesque sights, you wouldn’t want to step out—such is the enthralling beauty of this vacation home in Manali. It would make you want to stay indoors all the time!

An off-the-radar Airbnb, this is the perfect place to unwind at. The quaint and fairy-tale-like house has all the comforts of a modern home. Snuggle up in a blanket at night with a glass of wine and gaze at stars and the snow-capped mountains through the glasshouse; a divine experience that’ll mentally transport you to the Swiss Alps!

About the property:

Set on a 6600 feet hilltop, the house is a piece of art. Done up in a classic and mid-modern style, the two-bedroom cottage is made of recycled wood, mainly Burma teak, English oak and pine. The pièce de résistance is the glass ceiling and walls for dining under the star embellished sky. Minimalist interiors include Scandinavian light fixtures, customized furniture and a fine art collection. One will also notice traditional Himachali touches such as a Bukhari (a fireplace). There is also an outer patio that would be ideal for sunbathing in the mornings or for late-night conversations with a bottle of champagne in tow.
