About the property:
Set on a 6600 feet hilltop, the house is a piece of art. Done up in a classic and mid-modern style, the two-bedroom cottage is made of recycled wood, mainly Burma teak, English oak and pine. The pièce de résistance is the glass ceiling and walls for dining under the star embellished sky. Minimalist interiors include Scandinavian light fixtures, customized furniture and a fine art collection. One will also notice traditional Himachali touches such as a Bukhari (a fireplace). There is also an outer patio that would be ideal for sunbathing in the mornings or for late-night conversations with a bottle of champagne in tow.
Rooms:
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms that can accommodate up to four guests. The bedrooms are spacious and stylish and come with hypoallergenic 300 count bedding. The villa comes with central heating, LCD, Wi-Fi connection, on-site housekeeping and toiletries. Besides a seating area, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, there is a microwave and wooden fire stoves. There is also a sun terrace.
Pro-Tip:
They do not provide accommodation for a driver or any staff member. So, you may have to make alternate arrangements for them in the surrounding area.
Food:
The kitchen comes with a microwave, OTG, an espresso machine with ground coffee, utensils and other amenities needed to cook. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at an additional cost of ₹350-450 and need to be booked in advance. There are many popular eateries nearby that are a ten-minute drive away.

I came across rave reviews about Tek Chand, the in-house chef, who can prepare a variety of lip-smacking dishes ranging from North-Indian and continental to Italian and Kashmiri cuisines.

8. Stay in old Manali which isn’t fully commercialized yet, so you can enjoy the tranquillity and stunning views without being cut off from the town. It is a great choice for travellers interested in nature trails, mountain walks and beautiful forests.
