It started when 6 friends decided to go some unexplored place. Many thoughts came and finally the destination was finalised. YES It is "TIRTHAN VALLEY".
Tirthan Valley is a hidden gem in Himachal Pradesh where one can enjoy the nature and have some quality time with family and friends.
We caught our bus from Delhi on July 11 evening and the journey begins....
The bus was full of youth who were traveling to Manali. We settled down and started chatting with each other while enjoying the light music
The way was very scenic, mountains and Tirthan River flowing by its side was adding glory to the beauty of this place.
We reached AUT around 6:00 am in the morning where we took cab to reach our hotel Pinewood Cottage in Banjar.
We reached our cottage around 08:30 am. After freshen up and having breakfast, we moved to explore our first destination " Serolsar Lake". Our cab dropped us at Jalori Pass and we started trekking from there. The trek was approx 6 kms long and full of trees. Chirping of birds and walking in the clouds was such a relaxing moment every person would want to be in.
After a tough walk of 2.5 hours, we reached our destination SEROLSAR LAKE. The view of this place cannot be described in words. Someone has rightly said "BEST VIEW COMES AFTER THE HARDEST CLIMB".
We hardly spent around 1-2 hours there and time flew like anything and we had to start trekking back towards jalori pass where our cab was waiting for us. We reached our cottage, had dinner and took rest to regain the energy to cover our destinations scheduled on day 2.
We got up early in the morning to take a morning walk to our second destination " Jibhi Water Fall". It was only one km away from our hotel, the way to fall in not less than a dream. The place was very clean and well maintenance. The bridges over the flowing water and greenary around it was really beautiful. The sound of water was mesmerising. we spent some quality time there and get back to our cottage.
After getting ready, we checked out from our cottage and took the cab to reach our last destination "RAGHUPUR FORT". We were dropped at Jalori pass from where we started our second trek which was around 3 kms one way, The trek was very narrow & steep and rain has made it even more difficult to trek.
We hiked for about 2 hours and Last one km of trek was too difficult but the view after reaching the top was breath taking and we forgot about all the hassles we faced during the trek. This is not less than a heaven. This is the place to find your soul.
We hardly spent 10 mins there and suddenly it started raining heavily and with hard hearten we had to rush back as the trekking in rain becomes more difficult, The trek was wet and it required focussed vision to walk on that path. We took the help of locals to come down to Jalori pass. Their experience of trekking on wet trek really helped us in reaching to our cabs.
The cab dropped us at Aut where we took our bus and after the overnight journey, we reached Delhi. We collected lots of unforgettable memories as the trip ended.
