Everyone must be having a travel partner. Someone like to travel with friends, someone with loved ones or someone like to spend their quality time alone and go backpacking on a solo trip. Whereas I like to spend my vacations traveling with my family

My mother has been my travel partner since the day I came into this world. We have literally travelled from North to South, East to West together. We even went on our first international trip together to Maldives.

After travelling for so many years with my mother, here are some of the pros that I encountered while embarking on a new journey with her.

PERKS OF TRAVELLING WITH YOUR MOTHER

1. Watching her enjoy each moment of life, becomes a source of inspiration for you.

When our parents have fun, we smile. So this Directly proportional relationship of ours, come to life when we actually see them enjoy, laugh, party, during a trip. And that's where we draw inspiration from them to be this happy when we are of their age. And more importantly keep traveling even if we get old.

That childish look on her face whenever she sees water and sunsets

2. You always have a selfie partner with you.

We always tend to find a selfie partner in our friends'. Some friends' can be photogenic, some not. Contrary to that, moms are always ready to create memories with their children. So here we have a selfies partner for life.

3. Travel at a slower pace

We, youngsters tend to always be on our toes, running from one end to another and not exactly living in the present. But with the case of our Moms, they enjoy the present moment more than they think about their future. As my Mom always says 'We will cross the bridge when it comes'. So let's adapt that for our lives.

Learning to enjoy the small joys of nature from her.

4. You will always be prepared for any kind of circumstances.

When we see them handling any kind of situation with so much ease, we tend to follow that. And when we travel there can be unforseen situations that arise, like missing a train/bus, losing of passport. In these kind of situations, how our moms handle it, is a lesson for us.

5. You are never alone in case of any emergency.

Traveling comes with its fair share of difficulties and obstacles. That's when you need moral support the most, moms will step in and help you out with all her might.
