Mural hunting in Penang

Out of my short 6 days trip to Malaysia , i spent one day in Penang looking for Mural , caricature and art allies as my holiday treasure . Penang is an island state in Malaysia and is reachable by bus , ferry from Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur . My friend and i boarded ferry from Langkawi which took 3 hours to reach Penang . I say it is a must visit place in Malaysia , we were staying in George town where you can find all heritage houses and we were staying in one of the those . Every place is in walk able distance , we started looking for the murals in afternoon after check in crossing all the heritage houses.Street murals here apart from the art has some prop used which makes it more lively , two kids riding a bike , a kid trying to reach to the window with help of a chair and many more . George town has iron caricature installed in most of the streets giving details about cities history and people's daily life there . Apart from street murals there is a Art lane in Penang , where you can find all the art of the local artists and it is open from 9 Am- 7 Pm everyday . My focus was only on street art for Penang , but it has lot of other things to offer like churches , art museum , 3D art museum , upside down museum , temples, sky walk , little India, clan of jetties etc. I went to one of the clan of jetties , they are floating houses on Penang island and when we went there was some festival so it was beautifully decorated .
