One of the common oldest treks that crosses from Kullu to to Parvati valley chandrakhani pass both sides beautiful tribal villages
Writing on behalf of my friend an often trekker and old time guide Rani Habibi aka Ron
As narrated by Him he started this beautiful trek from Rumsu village a beautiful village with old wooden beautiful Himachal houses one and a half hour from Manali
From Village Rumsu (Ganchalani) altitude around 2100 meters they a group of 5 trekkers
Hiked up around 12 kms 4 hrs to a point Celanti put there base for 1st night camping into the wild and new altitude around 9000 ft
The half day left was spend hanging around cleaning whatever litter found enroute trek and clicking some pictures around they saw shepherds house as shelters found wood to cook some simple food as the night took over the stars shined and counting shooting stars was easy with plenty of wishes to ask and plenty to forget just a sight of party happening in the sky twinkle twinkle the temperature dipped around zero the team decided to rest to take on the pass next morning
The day to pass the trek felt like an exam clouds hovering all over they still decided as Rani thought it's just clouds no rain and the rest of the team went on and on with him from Celanti to Dadru reaching an altitude of 12005 ft i.e 3660 meters at stretch with very little stops the team trekked 15 kms 5 hrs
Putting base at altitude is about finding lucky spots with good speed winds and plain land on top it's windy often there
They found a rock in between where they could pitch there tent at site Dadru where they rested for night prayed to the god small temple on top also again cleaned up the area with what ever they could find there trip purpose and focus was to move fast keep it light very light bags space to collect litter while trekking it was windy and loud night till the next day arrived with beautiful glance of a sunrise
The last to reach mystic village famous for it's culture language which is different from all regions in himachal Pradesh
From Chandrakhani pass they started uphill downhill adventures trek to Malana
From Dadru chandrakhani pass to Malana is a 8 kms trek reaching base Malana village at altitude of 8000 ft
The time of trekking there were guest houses open in Malana where they rested for and the trek was done with good purpose and beautiful memories
