If you are in a group or solo and staying in kasol and you want to explore Malana, then you have come to the right place. Well, I will share how to travel from Kasol to Malana on a budget
The Local cabs will cost you around 2000-2500 from kasol to malana. The distance from kasol to malana is 22km. So the best way is to take a Bus from the Bus stand in kasol market till Jari. Ticket costs around 20 rs per person
Then get off at Jari. It will take around 20 mins to reach Jari from Kasol. Get off at Jari Taxi stand . Now if you are travelling solo or are 2 people then you can look for a company who is also travelling to Malana. Chances are that you might find many if you are lucky.
Or else if you are more than three then cab will cost around 900rs for the full can. On the other hand for two people you can get it for 500rs
It will take around 1 hour to reach Malana.
Here starts the main challenge, To reach the Malana village which is basically on the other side of the Mountain and you have to cross the river and also trek all the way up towards Malana Village
Ensure to carry water bottle and wear trekking shoes.
