Jejuri is a small town situated around 50 Kms from Pune. This place is famous for Khandoba Temple 🚩and is visited all around the year. Its a day trip from Pune.. so we picked a saturday to visit Jejuri to take darshan of Lord Khandoba. We left early morning from our place in Pune and reached Jejuri in 2 hours.. took a tea ☕ break in between.
After parking our car we started climbing steps ... within 30-40 mins we reached temple. Luckily not much rush in the temple and we were able to take darshan quickly. Turmeric-Coconut- Jaggery is offered as prasad to deity .. you will see temple completely covered in turmeric.. looks very beautiful and bright 😊. There is a ritual followed here.. so whenever a newly wed couple come to this temple ... husband carries his wife till the top. We saw many newly weds while climbing up. After taking darshan we head back to the Pune.
