Why this trip to Lonavala blew my mind away

It was my best friend's birthday, the clock struck 12 and we were lying semi-tipsy in her room, trying to pack our bags and book an Uber for the next day. We were pretty tired after this little birthday bash that we had at her place. But, the tickets were booked and there was no way we could have cancelled this adventurous trip.

Day 2

Lonavala

Since my childhood, I was never a big fan of roller coaster rides or swings that take you from one end and throw you away at the other. Nor was I ever a huge fan of those Water Zorb bubble rides. Despite having these apprehensions, I did everything and more the very next day. Let me just stop beating around the bush and tell you where we landed up the other day: The very famous and India's largest extreme adventurous park: DELLA ADVENTURE.

Somehow we managed to get up in the morning and made our way towards Lonavala. We were blessed by the sun that shone upon us and the view of Lonavala made each one of us look outside our windows and praise its beauty.

We arrived at our destination and each one of us knew that this trip was going to be WORTH IT. We just got the vibe the moment we reached the place. Let me first talk about what Della Adventure is all about before I take you all inside the park. This park in Lonavala is one of the best weekend getaways near Pune and Mumbai. It is certainly a one stop destination for a wide range of extreme adventure activities and much more. If you are someone who is a huge fan of adventure sports or rides and haven't visited this place, then you are missing out on a lot.

We took our passes from the Reception and the manager introduced us to the various activities that happen in the park.

The entire process is extremely systematic and you will definitely enjoy each phase that the park will introduce you to. In no time, we were moving from one ride to another and enjoying every bit of it.

I am short of pictures here because you will definitely prefer living in the moment rather than capturing it and wasting your time. Here's a disclaimer: There are so many rides that even an entire day is not enough for it.

There are a variety of rides. Make sure you do not miss out Swoop swing(100 ft.), India’s Longest Flying Fox(1250ft.), 5 kinds of zorbing and 700cc Yamaha raptor ATV, adrenaline pumping adventure activities like Archery, Rocket Ejector, Motocross dirt bike riding, Buggy Ride, Paintball and Rappelling.

Soon, it was time for lunch and we were directed towards this amazing restaurant and cafes that they have within the park itself.

We should have known the rides that we were going to take post lunch were deadlier. We regained some of our energy only to get drained yet again.

A special mention of the above ride becomes mandatory because it almost took my life. We were given a set of instructions that had to be followed while we were in the bubble which is thrown downwards from the top of a mountain. I was shook, numbed and dead for a few seconds while I was in there. My friends laughed at my condition when I got out of that bubble. Definitely, that one ride wasn't for me. But, well, one must always say yes to adventures. ;)

Soon, it got dark and there were limited rides that we could try. We moved ahead towards the pet section. So, you can go on dog walks inside the park too. You can choose a breed of your choice and take the dog with you for some time, play with it and even click pictures.

Soon, it was time for us to bid goodbye. We made our way towards the Lonavala highway and we stopped by at a famous Dhaba to have our dinner. We reached Pune on 1st December at around 1 or 2 am.

So, now you know why this trip to Lonavala blew my mind away. To say the least, it was a 'trip' of a lifetime.
