Govt had given some release for Tourism in Covid times, the places around Pune got overcrowded.
It was long time we had not been out and I was looking for less known place which has a small Trail and Beautiful Waterfall.
Searching on Google I came across Place called Maval, I knew this place but had never been.
Maval - Name sounds Quite interesting, I started searching places to see here, in my search I got 2 places/2 Beautiful Waterfalls which can we visited are given below.
1) Jagtap Waterfall
2) Bendewadi Waterfalls
How to Reach above places from Pune ?
1) Jagtap Waterfalls
Catch the Mumbai Pune Road, take a right Turn from Kanhe Phata and go straight and can ask locals for the place or best option is Google Map.
Jagtap Waterfalls is a commercial place, Entry fee around 300/Person, place is quite Beautiful but bit crowded, so we avoided visiting here.
2) Bendewadi Waterfalls
This place is around 18 - 20km from Jagtap Waterfalls, before moving, just set the destination in your Google map and move on.
Bendewadi is a small village of around 15 - 20 homes, these people can serve you tea, Breakfast and Lunch at reasonable rates.
To reach waterfall there is only one and easy way, no connecting roads so not to worry about getting lost.
Time required to reach is just 5 mins.
This place is quite, less known, we didn't find anyone around which made it more beautiful and Clean.
The people around here are more cooperative and helpful, which make the journey much safe.
Its must visit place in one's bucket list.
In your journey you will see beautiful Mountains having "n" number of Waterfalls, but there is no way to reach them, you can just watch them through road and have beautiful pics.
Maval is nearby place from Pune with beautiful road, no crowd and visit to Maval in Rainy season can create a memorable day.
Seeing the pics I am sure you will definitely make plan to visit to Bendewadi Waterfalls.
