The best to celebrate my valentine day is to be with my true love mountains, lakes and all natural.
with weird group - a 62 years old economist, a 67 years old professor from U.S.A , a archaeologist, a banker and me..
we all gather at money museum in nasik having a same goal of scaling Anjaneri Mountain..
after a tiring journey to nasik and few hours of sleep we got our S.T bus by 7am to anjaneri mountain...
climbing our way to the top.. gazing the beauty of mother nature..
bird watching, talking about the structure and the carving on the caves, mesmerising the vastness of land, breezy cold winds touching your hair.. greenery.. the view keeps on getting better and better..
as we kept on trekking ahead.. the pass was becoming more narrow and challenging for us to climb.
from st bus we have walk straight till the base of the mountain which is around 45 mins walk..
walking down the road.. moving forward toward the base.. we entered anjaneri village.. a small village at the base of the mountain and a small temple at the entrance..
which had a cave attached to it.. after a small pit stop.. we continued
as we walked and climbed the mountain.. there were stairs.. broken not in a good condition... after climbing the stairs and rock. there is a monkey zone.. where all monkeys are ready to attack u :-P
half way through and then this beautiful lake appears.. its is said that it is one foot of lord hanuman by the localites which made me guess where is the other foot.. hahah..
cold water.. cold wind made us feel more energetic and after a small break we continued our trip and made it till the top of the mountain..
it made us proud on ourself like we have achieved something in our life.. or to say i made me feel like queen of the mountains..
7 hrs was the total time took by us. which was completely worth it..
