We stay in Pune, Maharashtra, and Maharashtra is Gifted with beautiful coastal area and it's Called as Konkan.
Konkan streaches from Mumbai to Goa.
In this line there are "n" number of beautiful Beaches. Some places are heavily crowded and we were looking for beautiful and less crowded place where we have not been.
Tracing the map, I came across name Guhagar, the name took my attention and I started exploring it on Google.
I read all info and our trip was just a weekend so it took no time to make an iternary which given below
Day 1
Travel to Guhagar
My route Pune - Umbraj - Patan - Chiplun - Guhagar
Road Pune to Umbraj was very smooth, but when you cross Umbraj, concrete road work in process, so it took bit more time to reach Guhagar.
If you have time then on the way to can visit Chafal (Hanuman Temple by Ramdas Swami), Koyna Point & Datta Dham
We reached Guhagar in afternoon, reached our room got fresh and we're out to see the Guhagar for the first time.
Guhagar is a small village, but very clean and the houses here were old but in very good condition and worth appreciating.
In evening we visited Vyadeshwar temple (Shiva temple) it's famous temple and in center of Guhagar.
Later we spent evening on Guhagar Beach celebrating my birthday.
Guhagar Beach has small Chowpati and lots of options to eat.
Evening was spent nice, we had our dinner on Chowpati and left to our room.
Day 2
Velneshwar
Velneshwar is a temple which is around 17km from Guhagar.
We got up early, had breakfast in our hotel and left to Velneshwar.
As it's near and road was also fine so we reached there early.
Places visited on Day 2
Velneshwar Temple - Shiva temple on Coast, this place is clean and unspoilt.
It has beautiful beach, people visit the temple and leave, beach is rarely visited by some people so it's very clean.
Bamanghal -
it is a small creek near sea shore and during high tide the waves that splash upon it is really amazing and thrilling. a bit slippery but the experience is real good.
You have to walk a little along the sea to reach this place. But you have to walk on uneven rocky surface. During high tide this view is really beautiful.
Hadvi Beach - Way to Bamanghal goes thought Hadvi Beach.
People usually visit Bamanghal and Hadvi beach is less crowded, due to which it's unique, beautiful, Picturesque and Worth visiting.
Hadvi temple -
Hedvi Temple is an excellent temple. Name of this Ganesh is 'Dashbhuja Ganapati'. This 'Laxmi – Ganesh Temple' is not only ancient but also rare. This temple may have been erected in the period of Peshwa. The deity has been founded on the top of Mountain. The Ganesh idol has been carved in white stone. Such stones are found in Kashmir region. The specialty of the idol is that this is 3 feet high and it has 10 hands. This majestic idol is on a seat of 2 feet.
It was my small outing on a weekend and I just had relaxing time on beautiful location.
Guhagar is less known, so remove your time and explore before it gets crowded.
