Treck To Ankai Tankai Fort

Hello Treckers,

       Our Treck location is Ankai-Tankai Fort Located in Ankai Village, Manmad, Nashik. Ankai-Tankai fort is near about 90KM away from my Home and 990MTR height. We planned this Treck in Winter on 12Nov,2020. So our journey started in the morning 5:30am, In winter riding bike is not that much easy but we managed to reach base of fort near about 7am. And then started our treck.
                The Fort has Jain and Bramhin Caves carved structure on Stone or inside stone caves at the starting. There are lot of Statue of Gods, Animals. Most of this was destroyed by Mughal emperor in 17th Century to capture this fort. Now the fort is in better condition and people comes here to experience the treck, nature's beauty, ancient creativity, structure, art.

            And when we reach at the fort's entrance the Entry door was just awesome built in 11th century. Inside structure of fort is totally destroyed by the attackers. but the fencing wall of fort is so much strong and attractive. The Ankai fort was used by Maratha Empire to live and the Tankai fort was used as a protector of Ankai Fort.

     On the same place Lord Shri Rama Meets a Agasthya Rushi when they are on their way to Lanka. The View, scenery, walls, structure are just mesmerizing and its attraction of many peoples.
