How to reach there?
The fort is located across 45km from pune railway station. Pune railway station is the major nearest railway station to purander fort you can catch a direct train for pune and then from there you can hire a cab to go there
TIMING : tourist can visit this place between 9am to 5pm there is no entry fees for visit the place but identity card is compulsory (adhar card, pan card, collage ID)
Purander fort is also known as a birthplace of Shree Sambhaji Maharaj (son of Chatrapati Shiwaji Maharaj)
As it is a place of historical importance you can also find the temple of Purandareshwar and a statue of Murarbaji Deshpande the general of maratha empire and statue of Chatrapati Shiwaji Maharaj.
