Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is located in Chandrapur district, Maharashtra state, India. It is Maharashtra's oldest and largest national park & the Perfect place for the ones looking for an authentic safari experience.

Nagpur is the closest airport, from there it’s another 3 hours drive to Tadoba. The roads are good and drive is comfortable.

The main attraction at the Tadoba National Park are Jungle Safaris, Private Open-top Jeeps or shared buses with Trained Local Guides, make your trip informative and easy going.

Tadoba reserve is a predominantly southern tropical dry deciduous forest With dense woodlands, the main attraction here being the Bengal Tiger.

The others spotted here as well are the Indian Leopards, Sloth Bears, Wild dogs..

Huge herds of grazers dominate the park’s ecology in a similar way from Gaur, Nilgai, Sambar, Barking Deer, Chital, Bison and many more..

Expect Rough roads, as u do off-the-beaten-path to catch a glimpse of the wild beast.

The best gate is Moharli in the core area.

- No mobile phones are allowed in the jungle.

Our stay at Tadoba was at Waghai Homestays. Its at a close proximity from the safari gate. Its said to be one of the oldest property in the area.

The rooms here were spacious & clean. The staff was hospitable and made sure our stay was comfortable.

The food is locally sourced, so it’s simple yet delicious. The dining area overlooks the lake and view is captivating.

Rs. 3500/- per night, per couple - inclusive of all meals is the price we paid.

Though we found it a bit on the higher side, it was still the cheapest we could find.

The owner Mr. Mangesh (+91 9860558591) is very kind-hearted and helps you out with everything possible within his reach.
