With a well-lit room, comfortable bed, a wide range of toiletries, a television and some snacks in the mini-fridge, we received the comfort of a luxury hotel without burning a hole in our pockets. The room was spacious and had a lot of natural light for amazing inst-worthy pictures. Their headboards were covered with handmade Chikankari, a traditional embroidery style Lucknow is famous for.
Comfort at your doorstep
From setting our bed to taking care of our last minute requests, this hotel delivered comfort to our doorstep whenever requested. With the room service a call away, the hotel staff ensured that we had a comfortable stay. They even cleaned our room while we were traveling around the city without us requesting. But our most favourite part of the room service was enjoying the breakfast spread in our bed!
Savour food for all palates
While there are many famous places in Lucknow to try authentic Awadhi cuisine, we did not have to go far to satiate our hunger. This hotel has two restaurants that are also famous among the locals for their unique and delicious offerings. Pavilion is a coffee shop cum restaurant on the ground floor which offers Awadhi food along with a buffet menu. We ended up filling our stomachs with Galouti Kebabs, Muradabadi Dal and Murg Rogan Josh along with their signature Warqi Paratha and Ulta Tawa Paratha which melted in our mouths and had us wanting for more.
Their second restaurant, The Terrace Grill, is located on the rooftop and it offers a scenic dinner under the sky and is known for its Woodfired Pizzas. If you prefer western cuisine then you should definitely give this one a visit.
Stay in the heart of Lucknow
This hotel is located in Hazratganj which is one of the oldest and most prime-time areas of Lucknow. With major restaurants, legendary street food vendors and one of the biggest markets at walking distance, this hotel gave us the perfect place to start exploring this city. We recommend visiting the nearby Hazratganj market for mouth-watering local food such as Chaat and Kachori and street shopping.
