Road Trips: are always fun. And unplanned short Road trips of 3/4 days are exciting. So the plan was to go on a road trip for 3 days and a location in a radius of 350km from Pune.
Goa was an option at first but due to large crowd and already visited many times we decided to visit Konkan.
Travel Time: We left Pune around 6 am and with just one halt for breakfast we reached Ratnagiri around 1pm and started search for hotel with the list we had with us. We checked 3 hotels and finally checked into Hotel Sea Sun. It was the hotel with the best view. After lunch and a bit of rest we went to beach for some time.
After taking rest for about an hour we went to beach for an hour and then took rest in hotel.
Day 2 : 18 November
We decided to cover the sea road of approx 40km from Aare Ware beach to Karhateshwar Temple
Aare ware Beach - Ganpati Pune - Karhateshwar - Jaygard Fort
We left hotel around 10 am and started exploring places near by and you can check the pictures as it says it all.
Karhateshwar Temple: Its the best place at the extreme corner of the Ratnagiri - Ganpati Pune road.
The Roads are just awesome with the most breath taking views.
Day 3: After exploring entire Day 2 we went to a beach on day 3 and checked out the hotel around 12 noon and started our journey back to Pune with exploring places at Ratnagiri on the way.
