Parvati Hill

Tripoto

Parvati Hill is located in 15 mins distance from Sarasbaug, Center of Pune. It is a very small hill, on top of where we can find small temples of Shiva and Parvati, Lord Kartikeya, Rama, Vishnu and Vitthal, and also a small Museum. Even though it is a very small hill it carries a high historic value.

It is an awesome peaceful place where family people can have a wonderful time. When I visited, I saw many people living in the surrounding areas used this hill for a regular walk and also athletes came for their fitness regime. Early morning or evening after 5 pm is the perfect time to visit this place as you can breath some fresh air and experience gentle breeze. As I went in the evening I had a chance to see the beautiful sunset and after 6 pm top view of the city was wonderful.

We can make use of the steps to climb up the hill and we can reach the top within 10-15 mins. The steps will be somewhat steep, so not recommended for very aged people and persons having some severe health issues.

Otherwise it is a must visit place in Pune which can be comprised within a limited budget on a weekend for a perfect pastime.
