Nice highway....small but clean village of Palasdeo....Cart road that takes to the banks of backwaters of Ujani...golden reflections on blue water...Cool wind...thousands of guests gathered after crossing continents ( truly paradise for bird watchers/ ornithologists ).....footprints people left on mud path.....submerged temple of Saradeshwar......This is the view of lesser known place. Where fishing, camping on the banks of backwaters, stargazing at night and yes birdwatching....is all at one place. Place is isolated as one has to hire a boat to reach at this place.

I had visited this 11th century marvel in the month of may. We spent hours for studying and measuring three temples at this place. I made this visit for camping and just to check how much water level goes up....... before leaving I spent hours watching at partial temple tower remained to stay above the water level and water all around till horizon....Though I was just gazing at, it felt as if it is talking to me......Its been more than more than 8 centuries now....Standing still and steady....asking us to visit it again....again.
