If you are looking for some offbeat place in Pune which will keep you awestruck for some while then here it is Necklace Point at Bhor.
About 50km to 60km from ShivajiNagar Pune.
One can travel by Bike or Car and easily reach to destination in couple of hours with few breaks on the road.
The location is not exactly visible as it is in middle of road, better look for it on map. Landmark is a local hotel called Necklace Point.
Best time to visit this place is during Monsoon Season as you'll find greenery around along with some cold climate and beauty of clouds.
As such there is nothing to hog around but you can try a restaurant called Hotel Shreyas.
If you reach the place early in afternoon or in morning the try stretching ride till Bhatghar Dam, it is another offbeat place from places near Pune. I did not get to visit Bhatghar Dam, maybe next time.
