If you are planning to visit and if you had not been to Murud janjira you should consider this time.

It is one of the best places to visit in kokan coast. Mainly Janjira fort which is built in the middle of water and need to reach fort by boats.

One of the unique forts i had visited.164km from Pune and 165km from Mumbai.

Has to reach there by boats which will be available in the base village with reasonable prices. Basically it is a big boat and will be on sharing basis.

The most interesting fact in this fort is the above image. If one can see the picture there is a well in the image were the guide had told us that the water from this well tastes sweet and we witnessed so many people is tasting the water and the things is true. In between the salt water background there is a water source which can be used to drink.

The important thing which you need to keep in mind is to carry lots and lots of water and also minimal snack items to keep you hydrated and not to feel hungry.

Thanks and regards,
