Out of the Mumbai heat - Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani

It was a much needed, short and a sweet trip. We stayed at Club Mahindra Sherwood resorts, but I would say there are 'n' no. Of resorts in Mahabaleshwar, very feasible. It was a road trip for me and it was amazing. The most surprising thing was the hailstorm we witnessed on a summer evening. Rain? And that too, with ice? In summer? Its a complete surprise for a person who lives in Mumbai. It was pleasant in the evening, but a little hot in the morning, because it was summer. People over there said, Mahabaleshwar is heaven in monsoons. I love animals, and I was looking forward to monkeys, but unfortunately we didn't meet any. There is a cave in Table land. If anyone of you go, please do not miss the underground cave. It is a very very small DARK underground passage in the cave which will surely give you adventure thrills. Do not miss the strawberry cream with icecream, Strawberry punch, sandwich, pizza, etc. at Mapro garden in Panchgani. They make it amazing.
