Do you like exploring hidden gems?
Well, this is surely for people who are tired of going to the regular tourist spots and are looking for exploring some offbeat destinations. If you are living in Mumbai then Dabhosa waterfall will be one of the best weekend gateways for you as it's just 140km from Mumbai.
Dabhosa waterfall is located in Jawhar which is also known as 'The City of Waterfalls'.
The journey to Dabhosa:
We started from Boisar at around 8:00 am, and the distance was about 80 km from Dabhosa. We reached there by 11:00 am.
If you plan to go, you have to trek down to the bottom of waterfall so I would recommend you to carry a pair of comfortable shoes.
In case you are visiting during monsoons, you'll be awed by the views, but the water would be muddy and you possibly can't go in the water. But on the contrary, if you visit the place during winters, water might be less but it will be super clean.
We visited in the month of January so roads where pretty awesome and the destination was amazing.
