There is nothing more amusing than having road trip with friends to escapade the 9-5 routine, and it is more alluring when you plan road trip on Konkan roads during the rainy seasons. It was the weekend getaway trip for 1 day to the beautiful roads heading us to the Tamini Ghats. The scenic beauty of the road just gave the immense joy and peace that you needed after those long tiring 5 days. So wasting no more lines Let's go.
It was actually 1 day trip but we need to enjoy every bit of this weekend so we started with the Mumbai streets and of course their street foods. we wide variety of option to eat like cheese & Mysore Dosa of Dadar Station or having the Wada pav or sandwich and many more items to list here & after that and nice walk on the marine drive wouldn't hurt the road trip as we are walking on the road, sorry had to crack some joke in between otherwise the blog would be boring and my road wasn't boring at all.
After wandering the streets and street foods of Mumbai Nagri, we headed to the Mumbai central for catching our train to the next stop and that is Pune where we will start our actual road trip to Tamini Ghats. The Mumbai Central has its own beauty in night time and and rush doesn't stop at this station 24*7 and you can see every kind of people here from family groups, friends groups, business freaks & corporates guys in their suits & it's sometimes a entertainment to listen to them & dub their chats in funny way with your friends.
The day 2 started in train only & we jammed all night with songs and games during our journey from Mumbai to Pune, after reaching (reached Pune at 4:30 AM) we had to freshen up, so we went to the hotel where we had reservation from evening and requested them to give room for getting fresh and they charged Rs 500 for 3 hours for each room (we rented 3 rooms) and finally our road trip is getting started with all the necessary things needed for road trip especially speakers for the stops we take on road. we rented 2 zoom cars for 24Hrs costed around Rs 4500-5000 for each car (for 12 peoples).
So we picked our ride from Zoom car station and went for the best breakfast Pune city is famous for that is Misal Pav, the spiciness and deliciousness it has is out of words & Finally we off to roads at around 8:30 am. Now we all set to experience the greenery and the rainy climate of Konkan Roads with 2 Vibrant Red Scorpios. The trip was about 3hrs ride to go up to Devkund waterfall.
Now as soon we started our road trip the rain takes over his action and started to add the vibe of the road trip with the beautiful rainy roads and green saturated trees and mountains has its own personality, we stopped at many unnamed stops to take a glimpse of the scene with songs jamming in our car loud. As we moved forward through our trip we experience that nature can be so beautiful in so many ways. The greenery is one of the elements that you love so much and it will give so peace in your mind with you going in the middle of those path surrounded by green trees and fresh air away from the city which you needed the most in this weekend.
Now as we enter the Tamini Ghats the road becomes so beautiful and mesmerizing and we can the clouds up so thick as cotton layers, through road trips we stopped for photoshoot of the view and we have experience the lake alongside the road while going upwards to the ghats. And finally we touched the clouds and we were riding in the clouds and it was like riding in the heavens with our own vehicle and music jams. The view so fascinating and joyful and the best feeling was to feel the clouds when move outside the car windows, the cold puff of breeze gives your body that dazzling feeling you came to experience, this was the perfect moment for the travelers. After Reading the crossing that perfect part we were above the clouds feeling the sun straight who was hidden behind those clouds & the clouds were raining under us. We enjoyed every bit of these weekend & had lots of fun at waterfall also. we stayed 2 hours at waterfall came back the same road but clouds weren't there now at evening. At last we ended our trip with movie night at Pune.
Few Things to Keep in Mind.
Keep extra pair of socks & clothes as your might need.
Keep waterproof mobile protection for all the members for rainy season.
Bring your own food as you won't find quality and sufficient food on the hill, or if you are the maggi lover then you can have it there.
Rest keep all the essential of travelers that i didn't need to mention.
