Day picnic near Mumbai filled with adventure and fun

Few of our friends decided for a day picnic on a weekend. We selected Savli farms at Karjat after going through various options.

How to reach
We took Karjat local from Dadar at 7.02 am.
We reached Neral at 8.40 am. Savli farms can be reached from Neral or Karjat, Neral being more near by around 3 kms. We had booked cab from Neral. It took us around 40 mins to reach the place which was at great height.

Being monsoon season,  there was greenery all around. The mountains looked beautiful . We kept our bags in tent and had breakfast. Post breakfast we had some fun in the garden area. Played basketball, bow arrow etc.
Thereafter the resort person took us for zipline. All the activities like zipline,  rifle shooting,  bow  arrow was included in our day trip package. One can also plan night stay at the property. They have various options for stay like tents, cabins, AC cabin etc.
Start of Activities
The first activity we started was zipline. It was Maharashtra's longest zipline. We were guided with the instructions and were given required gears, gloves, helmets. It was a lovely feeling to glide through zipline from such a height.

Second activity was Archery. We were given instructions. Thereafter 5 rounds of bow arrow were given to each person.

Third activity was gun and rifle shooting 🔫 5 rounds for each was given.

Thereafter we enjoyed the property, clicked pictures, played cricket 🏏,  badminton 🏸,  basketball 🏀 for some time and had lunch. I felt the food okay. 2 sabji, roti, dal rice papad and a non veg option. After meal we relaxed for some time and then went for mini boating.

So the fourth activity was boating in mini artificial pond.

5th activity was walking on rope over the pond. Balance or you fall in water.

Cycling 🚲, ATV ride, safari ride in open jeep to view the property were other options available. People planning night stay can gaze stars 🌟, enjoy barbecue.

They have a swimming pool  🏊‍♂️ . We enjoyed in pool for some time. Thereafter some of us went for cycling,  some enjoyed on the swings, some playing badminton,

At around 5  we were served tea and onion pakora. We relished the bhajjias and got ready to leave for home. We left around 6 pm for Neral station. Took train and reached back home.

Overall it was a wonderful trip with Activities,  fun and beautiful clicks. Charges for day trip were 1600 per person including all meals and activities
