Day 1
This one day trip will take you to one of the hidden and unexplored waterfalls in the Sahayadri mountain ranges.
Situated in the Jawhar district, it can be reached via either the Mumbai Surat highway or Mumbai-Nashik highway.
The route taken by me was Mumbai-Surat, considering the timing and decent average speeds. A halt at Ahura (Irani restaurant near Dahanu), I ventured into the village roads leading to this amazing place.
There is a small downhill walk (stairs present) to reach the base of the waterfall.
Also rappelling workshops happen at this site.
