Badri Vishal Temple - Short ride from Mumbai or Pune

When you travel far and wide you tend to miss a destination which is close to your home and something that can relax your mind and soul. Amidst the hustle and bustle of city life, you can find this generous temple on the old NH4 highway tucked in greenery. Nice getaway to spend time with family and friends. Old Nh4 road is known for its sheer curves, straight lines, elevations, hairpins which makes it drivers / riders dream to drive / ride on.

The temple has been built with dedication to Shri Badrinath & it is a good stopover if you are on the old highway. The temple area is big and easily accessible by road. Nearest station is Karjat (which is 11km) from where you can take buses (going towards panvel or Uran or Alibaug) and get down at Karjat phata (its a very well known place had ND studios nearby)

There is no eatery in the temple complex and one can get something to eat at chouk

While joining back on the main NH4 highway, be attentive as lot of vehicles are on high speed on this stretch.
