Murud janjira fort

We left from Pune at 6:00Am by car.

The beautiful mesmerising scenic view along the roads of konkan and various ghats are way too awesome..!

Although the roads are not that great but how can you complain when you have the best kind of friends accompanying you.

Our main purpose of this trip was to have a lot of fun which we did.

We did take a lot of breaks in between because of which we kind of reached late .(But who cares)

We reached murud around 1:15pm.

Somehow we managed to book ourselves a cheap hotel as we were not going to stay for a long time.

The hotel was costing around Rs 800 for 4 of us .

Then we cleaned ourselves and relaxed and also we were hungry AF as we didn't even had a proper breakfast from the morning so we had our lunch.

We reached the venue (port)  by 4:20 pm from where all the boats starts sailing towards the janjira fort.

There are two options there :- 1) The normal boat which costs around Rs 80 for an individual.

2) The second is the private boat which cost around Rs 1200 .

Obviously we opted for the 1st option as it doesn't make any sense spending 1200 bucks on the same thing just to get an executive feeling.

Then we boarded the ship with 10-15 other people.

I must say the sail to janjira fort is one of my best experience as it was so beautiful  having water all around you..!

The boat takes 15-20 mins to reach to janjira for where the boat owner asks you if anyone wants a guide for the janjira fort tour as we have only 45 mins to stay there and it is huge AF . The guide costs us Rs 400 although they'd ask for Rs150  for an individual but you can negotiate with them.

Although it's up to you but my suggestion is that you opt for a guide because they tell you the history related to all the viewpoints and main things to see there.

All in all I would like to say that everyone must visit janjira fort once .
