It was my birthday tour, and this time its Alibag, Maharashtra.
It was way harsh for me to pick beaches over the mountains. They both are quite the contrary but evenly beautiful. And both hold their perks.
We had a stay near Nagaon Beach, and we decided to start exploring from there itself. It was the beginning of monsoon, and no other beaches were open for water sports. We were pretty convinced to begin our day with some adventure; hence we headed down the shore.
I have never been on beaches before, and my expectations were considerably high. I was looking forward to blue water, sandy beaches, recline and have some seafood. Enjoy foot massage, get some beautiful pictures during dawn and dusk.
But disappointment knocked on the door - water was muddy (because of the monsoon - local says). The day was so muggy and sunny, and the beach was not clean, just two watersports were open on the name of adventure. And the crowded beach was not infinitely preferable for the photoshoot.
But it gave me some unusual experiences as well. Like; I am not going on the banana ride ever again. It was exciting, but I am too startled to repeat it over. Ate mangos, and they were delicious, impersonated with the waves.
This beach was not what I presumed still; I have some beautiful reminiscences of the place.
Our next destination was Kashid beach.
It was a 50 min drive from our hotel; a journey was way more amazing. The fluctuation was adjacent to the road. The waves were flattering the light of the sun. Umbra of the sun was falling on the sea, which makes it look golden in colour. It was like a rock beach, and I suggest, if you want some great capture, you must take a halt here and enjoy the beauty. Get some pictures clicked because you can't get this clear and uncrowded view on Kashid and Nagaon beach. You will need to talk to some locals if you want to explore the beautiful unexploited beach. And yes, the picture that I am posting was from the beach that our cab driver suggested us to visit. And I am glad that we agreed and enjoyed the sunset in the sense of peace. It was way more alluring and beautiful than how it looks in the picture.
I know, This picture is enough.
To visualise this hypnotic beauty But I cannot resist myself from praising it.
Wind blowing freely And singing its song,
Bringing out the sweet memories and stirring in the pond. I wanted to live in this present moment and listen to the wind and sea, how well are they co-ordinated. The gentle waves scattered the evening sun like the sequins that lay scattered from the festival. Colour of the sky, it was purple-red at the time of sunset. Cool, wet sand, fresh brewing air is so perfect for relaxing on the sand. It was serene and peaceful.
Thus you can't compare the hills and beaches! We are the one responsible for destroying these beautiful places, the areas which are untouched, unexplored are still beautiful. And the beaches didn't fail to amaze me.
