Plan an evolved tropical getaway with a pristine private waterfall, spacious wooden cottages, heavenly spa and adventurous activities close to nature resort in the hills reflecting the beauty of the Mahabaleshwar Valley. We opted for a road trip, started from Hyderabad, Telangana at 7am. With multiple stops in-between to enjoy the essence of a road trip, reached the destination around 5.30pm. Bookings done almost a month back, it was a complete random plan with no-plan! Idea was to have a super relaxing and rejuvenating time, and this place is just the right spot for that.
The resort welcome to a carefree paradise, an intimate escape, crafted with love, inspired by its surroundings. Built from local materials, by local hands, and infused with local art and soul.
Soon after reaching the destination, we took a tour of the beautiful place and spend the evening by dipping ourselves in the pool and later enjoying the serene peacefulness sipping red wine by the floating balcony of our room. It felt more rejuvenating to have a home cooked yummy food in the in-house restaurant. MUST TRY the Maharashtrian famous "Thecha".
Have you watched Twilight? Wondering if we could ever have such cinematic view of 'The Meadow'? Yes, there is a spot very close to the resort with such similar view.
Opt for Hiking on the plateau and Resort staff will arrange for a guide, who will take you to this spot via a short trek. Duration of this complete hike from resort-resort was approx. 3 -4 hours. Post the hike, had yummy food in-house and went to 'KingBerry - Strawberry Wine' Plant.
If you are a wine + strawberry lover, then do checkout this place. They offer some amazing products made purely out of different berries. Wine, Jams, Chocolates, ice cream. There is also play park and zoo in-house for kids to have good time. One can spend almost close to half a day here and enjoy tasty food in the cafeteria.
Started our day with early hiking to the waterfall. The resort arranged for a guide here as well, make sure to carry a pair of trek shoes and tracks. It was a hike of 3 hours but the view was worth it all.
Here's detailing of the resort! It offers three types of Cottage Rooms, located on either ends of the property, elegantly furnished and equipped with an extensive range of amenities. All the category rooms include the same amenities - a bedroom with a king- sized bed, a sofa, bathroom with a dressing room. The balcony in every room is to provide a breathtaking view of the valley below and relaxing in a cup of coffee in the earlyest morning sun.
