A Place for serenity- Hidden Village
Hi Folks.
I Always try to Bring interesting places information and Shares the Experience with you all and Its Lovely that you guys reads Travel Experience on my Blog regularly. Thank you So much for this.
In this section I am going to tell you about a Calm and peaceful place which is away from the stressful, noisy and Crowded life of metro city like Mumbai. It is just 2 hours drive from Mumbai and on Mumbai Nashik Highway. Its an village, rather I would say HIDDEN VILLAGE (Name of the resort) which is located approximately 80 Km from Mumbai and its located in Atgaon, Wada- Shahpur Road.
Its is an beautifully designed, Rough/rustic Resort which is an Calm and Nature lovers Place. I is spreaded in approx 4 Acre area and it is almost cutoff to city. It has ample space of Parking and very well connected to road and train. You can take Local from Mumbai and can get down at Atgaon Station and its just 10 mins walking distance from there.
I opted for road as it is hardly 60 Km form my place and thought to have a road trip with some of my friends.
So we started from thane around 10 AM in the Morning and it took one n half hour to reach the place. It is little in interior so you have to use google map to Find this location and if you are coming from Mumbai side then it will be on your left side. When we took the left turn towards Hidden village we lost once but then found it somehow and reached at the location . Well after reaching there we parked car and entered in the resort which from starts looks interesting as the entrance is made of bamboo Shelters and wood Bridge. The tariff for one night is Rs. 4000 for a two people and included of Lunch, Evening tea, dinner & Breakfast of Next Morning which is quite good.
So we checked-in in rooms and relaxed for some time. As I said it is rustic and not like a luxurious resort but the luxury which you will find and get here is nature.
It has natural water falls, A pond and so many Species of Birds you will find in this resort. The people are so humble and helpful in the resort. They are local Villagers who work in this resort.
We relaxed and then came for lunch. The Best part of this Resort is the Food. The Food which they served is made by the Local People and you can feel the taste of home made food. The food was so delicious that we ate too much. In day time they serve the Veg food and also fried fish sometimes. After having Lunch we strolled in the resort and spent some time in the lap of nature. It was so Calm and soothing that you can not hear any noise of cars and people. Only the Chipering of Birds and Sound of flowing water in a small water body.
We took rest sat outside of our cottage, witnessed so many colors of nature, breath fresh and air decided that we should come here at least once in a month.
Well the next plan is to sleep for sometime after this much of Delicious food. We slept for some time and then suddenly some one knocked our door to wake up for the evening tea aound 4.30. We went to Dinning area which is the same area where we had the Lunch. It’s a common area for everyone to have lunch, breakfast and dinner. If you want in room dinning that is also available for Ala-cart but Package meals can not be serviced in room. Evening tea has some cookies and some beautiful companions like, Duck, hens, Cats and many more. We had a great time having tea with them.
Night is little Chilling and suggest you carry some of the Warm cloths. Out of your Cottage there is ample space to sit for 7-8 people and Enjoy the stars and can play some games with your friends if you are going in a group. You can carry some games with you or can get there also. You can carry your drinks if you want to. There you will not get any hard drinks in the resort and its outskirts so you have to go far to get the same. Resort has pool table, Carom, bafminton and other games for its guest and you can very well spend time with your friends playing those games.
Dinner is again a best part of this resort. Both Veg & Non-Veg was superb and lip smacking. I was not expecting this much of fun and delicious food. I spoke to the people who were preparing food there and they told me that they use their own Species made in their village only. I just entered in the kitchen out of the curiosity and found that it was so neat and clean and it was like our home kitchen.
Over all the people are so amazing and dedicated and they are so dedicated for the services. We had breakfast in the morning. No need to tell that it was incredibly delicious. They have a souvenir shop also where form you can buy some souvenir like pickles which has been made by the villagers, Spices and other stuff.
They have facility of payment by credit card and online also. They have a website and you can book your rooms from there also.
