Long weekends = Wandering
And this lead me to the land of strawberries..
Hired car and escaped early morning from dadar..
Mahabaleshwar was packed wid ppl.. Blame it on the weekend but still the place was fun..
Visited plateau point first it was scenic and later halted at mapro garden.. N I must say mapro garden is the best place to be in wen ua Goin to mahabaleshwar.. Luckily it was strawberry festival at that tym and we enjoyed a lot.. The property is super cool n well maintained.. The strawberry cream ice-cream and grill sandwich are must haves...
The nashik dhol performance by the team in evening was electrifying..
The next point was Venna Lake.. It was nice peaceful n romantic evening place.. Boating at Venna Lake is must try..
Other points worth visiting are elphinstone point, Elephant Head point, Lord Mahabaleshwar Temple.. Lodwick point...
Well there are many hotels to stay at mahabaleshwar but I suggest u go for local places as u'll get opportunity to go strawberry picking and view nature at mahabaleshwar at its best..
