Venna Lake Reviews

3. Third Stop: Venna Lake How can anyone miss this one! Wanted to ride a boat in the crystal clear water- which you can touch and drink too? Do you know this is the water which is directly sent to people of Mahableshwar? Yes, it it. As cold the water is, so pure it is. Just pay a few bucks and then get on the boat and enjoy the 30-45 minutes ride. Never miss to grab Blueberry and Strawberry cone ice-cream- which is of INR 30 only/- For the carrot lovers, outside the Venna lake you will find the most delicious and sweet carrots. I have not eaten such carrots in my life and trust me, it is amazing. Next on the road side, I tried corn tikki- speciality in Mahableshwar. It was also awesome!
While riding through some unknown roads we reached dead end of huge Venna Lake. Also, the sky was extremely dramatic that day, which serves as an interesting element for photography. We photographed each other, Shuvrodeep clicked a lot of my pictures. He also shot videos where he talked about modifications he has done on his bike. We also took our selfie on GoPro which turned out pretty cool. We spent some time there and then had food while returning back to hotel. That's pretty much how our 1st day of the year went.
Our next stop was Veena Lake where we did boating and filled ourselves from eateries available. Songs and stories about the place kept the journey interesting and cheerful. We clicked a good amount of pictures for the people back home.
Boating here is very costly if you are a couple, as they charge 600 for 30 mins and 200 extra. Its not worth, as march to july will be very hot for boating. Next we went to most awaited
2) Venna Lake: From wilson point we wandered to Venna Lake. A magnificent lake with dazzling 360 degree views. Cost of boating: Rs 300~350/-
