Hello everyone,
I wanted to share this information and hope it is helpful for the people visiting madrid.
I went madrid and fell in love with the city.
It was my dream destination and as I was learning spanish. I wanted to interact with people and understand the culture and language more.
TIP - learn the basics because 80% people in spain only speak spanish.you can always look for the young crowd as they do speak english.
About my trip:
My day started from the feria de madrid metro station.
As I decided to go to sol which is the main city.
I started my journey and it was quite diffucult to understand the local language but luckily I found a young couple and they somehow helped me.
With their help I got the the ticket for the metro.
from feria de madrid to sol return fare - €6.50

When I reached the place it was crowded as people gathered there to cheer for their football team.I saw madness in people for the game.
The streets were decorated for christmas people were having a good time.It was a nice cold evening.
Place I would suggest to eat
Food court - Mercado de san ildefonso
Calle de Fuencarral
Had a peaceful evening there.Met a family and an old couple.people are helpful .Even though they don't understand your language well. They still try to help you.
