Day 1

My journey started on 13th November, Wednesday. My family and I boarded the train Matsyagandha from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 3:20pm. It took us 16-17 hrs to reach Mangalore i.e at 8am.

Day 2

We reached Mangalore central on 14th November at 8am and then we had pre booked a car so our driver picked us up from the station. He then drove us to the famous Udipi Cafe in Mangalore where we had our breakfast and then we headed towards our resort Club Mahindra, Virajpet, Coorg. After reaching the club we freshened up and headed towards some nearby sightseeing. It took us one hour to reach Madikeri from our resort where most of the sightseeing are located. As it was 5 we first went to spices trail where he charged us 200Rs pp for 30 mins where we saw all spices and the guide gave detail explanation of the same. From there we headed to Raja's seat to see the beautiful sunset from the place where once upon a time the Raja's use to see the sunset and then further went to buy spices in a famous spices society where they sell spices without gst. Then we had our dinner in another Udipi Cafe in Madikeri and headed to our resort

Day 3

Next morning on 15th November we left for Kushalanagar to explore few more places. We headed towards the beautiful Abbey Falls. Then next we proceeded to Namdroling Monestary also known as Golden Temple it was a very vast and beautiful Monestary and we also had Momo's there made by the monks staying there itself. Then we had our lunch again at the famous Udipi cafe of Kushalanagar and headed towards Nisargdhama a famous deer park. We saw lots of deer there. There was also boating but it was closed. After that it was now time for our last destination for the day Dubare Elephant Camp, here we got to sit in a boat and had to cross a small river to see the elephant camp where we could seek blessings and feed the elephant. Finally we then headed towards our resort and enjoyed the Bollywood night there followed by dinner.

Day 4

16th November,It was our last day in resort we thought of enjoying the activities in the resort itself. Morning we went to swim and later after lunch my parents wanted to visit Talcuvarey so they left for that in the mean while my brother and I decided to stay back and enjoy the activities so there was a karaoke session then mocktail making workshop we then played some indoor games as it suddenly started raining and then there was Bollywood Dance workshop which was the best way to workout. Finally after that we had our dinner and slept.

Day 5

We checked out on 17th Nov from the resort at 10 am and headed towards Mangalore. After reaching Mangalore we had the famous Gadbad Icecream at Pabbas and then went to Shree Gokarnanatha Temple a famous temple of lord Shiva. From there we went to Sultan Battery from where the ferry person took us to Tanirbhavi beach. The beach was very clean and the sunset view was cherry on the cake. Finally we took a ferry back and headed towards Mangalore junction railway station.

We boarded Garibrath at 8pm.

Day 6

At 12 pm on 18th Nov we reached Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and our journey ended there with lots of happy memories.
