Pachmarhi,Madhya Pradesh

Pachmarhi is a small town in Madhya Pradesh. It's good for a peaceful getaway when you're too stressed from your work and daily life.
We were four people and we started our trip from varanasi. We were a little low on budget so we booked train tickets and it took us 17 hours to reach pachmarhi. Train rides are fun when you're with your friends. :)
From pachmarhi railway station, you have several options to reach the main town which is approximately an hour from the railway station. A cab takes 1000-1500 bucks. Buses take you for 50 bucks and tata sumos take you for 50 bucks too on a sharing basis.
When you reach the main town, you hop on a gypsy. Pachmarhi uses gypsy as it's mode of travel. People are very helpful in this city. He dropped us to our hotel and our trip finally began.
We booked a gypsy for 1.5k for 2 days. It took us around the city. We went to a bison lodge museum, jata shankar caves, pandava caves and ended the first day with a sunset point. It's a very small town so everything is within 15 minsmins and the gypsy rides are quite fun because the weather is pleasant throughout the year.

One the second day, we went to rajat prapat waterfall. To reach this waterfall, you have to make a small trek which is through the jungles so it's new and exciting. If you go deeper inside the jungles, there is another waterfall and the place is less crowded and peaceful.
Next, we went to dhoopgarh which is on a hilltop so the ride is amazing and picturesque! You'll get to see a lot of mountains and forests on your way. If you're lucky, you'll  get to see bisons as well. The sunset at dhoopgarh is totally worth it.
We bid farewell to the city in the evening. :)

2 days in pachmarhi cost us around 8k per person. The hotels are also very cheap so you don't have to worry about the expenses much if you visit this hill station.
